A distillation of AI news for CX leaders

This edition focuses on:

  1. Open-source voice AI

  2. Job Opportunities

  3. Speaking Opportunities

  4. Upcoming CCAIA Events

1. Open-source voice AI

There has been great progress towards human-like voice AI. However, deploying this technology has been expensive.

We expect the cost of human-like voice AI to drop significantly in the next few years. The lower price will largely be due to the open-source community.

For example, Sesame specializes in emotionally intelligent voice assistants. They have recently open-sourced an impressive voice AI model. You can test it out on their website, here: https://www.sesame.com/research/crossing_the_uncanny_valley_of_voice
