This edition focuses on:
Manus
Three new agents from OpenAI?
Job Opportunities at Dyson and Capital One
Q1 In-person meeting in San Jose at full capacity
1. Manus
Many are calling the launch of Manus another “Deepseek Moment.” China’s new autonomous AI agent, Manus AI, is designed to independently plan, execute, and deliver results across various tasks, positioning itself as a leading AI agent.
In demonstrations, Manus showcased the ability to screen job candidates, conduct real estate research, and perform financial data analysis.
Manus announced plans to open source some of their models. This comes on the heels of news leaking that OpenAI may be releasing agents costing as much as $20,000 per month (see next story).

2. Three Agents from OpenAI?
It’s reported that OpenAI will release three new agents — ranging in cost from $2k to $20k per month.
Their “low-end" agents ($2k/mo) will focus on high-income knowledge work. It’s estimated that this will include work performed by lawyers, accountants, etc.
Their mid-tier agents ($10k/mo) will focus more on software engineering.
Their high-end agents ($20k/mo) will function as PhD-level research assistants.
None of this has been confirmed by OpenAI. But the reporters who first broke the story seem reputable. One of them previously worked at Morgan Stanley as a technology investment banker. It makes sense that details shared with investors could find their way to her.
